Use The Boundary Of Self Defense To Protect Yourself
It’s time to take the steps to keep yourself safe. With the economy on the way down. Police resources are getting smaller and smaller. That means less protection for all of us. But if we be proactive we can live much safer lives.
When it comes to personal safety it . Knowing your surroundings and being aware of potential dangers is the first to do to become more aware of your self defense . Avoiding and distancing yourself from circumstances that could be trouble are your responsibility.
One way to do this is image what is called your safety boundary . The safety boundary is pretend circle that starts where you stand out to about 10 feet or so . If you are conscious of what is coming towards your boundary you have a much greater chance of avoiding danger . If you were alone and someone you don’t know enters your boundary , you need to do what you can to get some distance from the unknown person . If that stranger wants to attack you . If you keep them outside that boundary of safety than the stranger will not be in reach to grab or touch you.
Here are a few things to keep in mind
If possible avoid walking alone. As an example if you have to walk to the store it would be wise to ask a friend to accompany you .
Always attempt to be in a group, or try to be in public areas where there are lots of people around .
If you have to walk in the evening only walk where there are overhead lights .
Be aware of potential hiding places for dangerous strangers. This could be in alleys, by dumpsters, behind phone booths, ect. .
As you approach these potential hazardous areas make your boundary of safety a little bigger.
On top of using the boundary of safety you should think about getting yourself a self defense products, there are lots of choice and it will help strengthen your personal self defense plan. You can even get pepper spray that looks like other things, like lipstick pepper spray
You should really take this advice to heart. Most people don’t think anything bad will ever happen to them. But you know what? I will bet you almost every victim of a random crime on the street was thinking the same thing. There is a reason why they are “random” crimes, you never know when they will strike, so take the steps to keep yourself safe.
Do You Have The Upper Hand?

So I’m gonna put it right out there. The world we live in a down right scary place. Just take your remote and flick it on to any news channel and watch for 10 minutes. Go ahead and do it….
Scary right? Thought so.
There is no way around it, crime rates are rising, people are losing their houses and their jobs and they’re getting desperate. Do you really want to find yourself on a dark street with a dude holding a gun that just lost his house, job, wife, and dog? I would hope not. That is a pretty scary situation and you surly don’t want to find yourself in that position empty handed.
This is where self defense products come into play. They come in many different types. One of my personal favorites in mace pepper spray. Mace has been in the self defense game for a long time and really know how to keep people safe.
Pepper spray is a great way to protect yourself. All it takes a short burst and then BAM, your attacker is laying on the ground wishing he had messed with someone else.
I think everyone out there should invest and get some keychain pepper spray. I’m a big fan of the stuff. You can take it everywhere you go. If you ever find yourself in a bad situation you can just whip it out and take the upper hand. And maybe rob the robber 
Nooo, don’t do that, turn tail and run. Get the cops and get him locked up.
Another great self defense option is a stun gun. I don’t know if you have ever seen one of these bad boys before but are pretty nuts. For those of you that don’t know what a stun gun is, imagine you T.V. remote. Now imagine your remove with two metal spikes coming out the top and it makes lighting when you hit the power button. That about what it looks like.
These things are bad.
They range from 20,000 volts up to 1 million volts. Now that’s some knock down power. All you it takes is a 4-10 second zap and that bad guy is down for the count. And the best part is there is no long term damage. So you can get away and get the police and let them deal with that low life.
So those are a few ideas for everyone out there. The crime is going to continue to rise. So don’t be caught unprepared, make sure you have the upper hand.
